Cabinet brings service delivery to Dannhauser

The clinic will service rural communities in and around Dannhauser.

KwaZulu-Natal Premier Mr Senzo Mchnu and Health MEC Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo last week officially opened the Sukuma Clinic in Dannhauser.
This was part of Cabinet’s Operation Sukuma Sakhe, and all members of the provincial executive visited various areas around Dannhauser.
The clinic will service rural communities in and around Dannhauser, who in previous years have had to rely on health services in places as far away as Newcastle.
Mchunu said the provision of health is one of government’s key priorities, without which communities cannot develop: “Health and education are the cornerstones of our democracy, and these two go hand-in-hand with any plans to develop society. If people are not healthy or educated or skilled, they will not be able to meaningfully participate in growing the economy of our country,” said Mchunu.
