MEC for Transport, Community Safety & Liaison Mr Thembinkosi Willies Mchunu collapsed at a function in Estcourt on Saturday to celebrate 20 years of ANC rule.
He was immediately rushed by security and emergency services personnel to Ladysmith Provincial Hospital.
