Another python found in eZakheni

K9 and eZakheni police officers came with Mossie Mostert to capture the snake and was later released at Nambithi conservancy

Police officers came to the rescue once again when the community of Qinisa discovered another rockpython in Qinisa settlement next to eZakheni.  The community  there is tormented by the number of pythons  captured in their area in such a  short space of time.

Khethelo and Thubelihle Miya discovered a 2 and a half meter African Rock Python just outside their home and called neighbors for help,”This is the second snake that has been caught this week” adds a concerned community member. The snake was spotted close to where young children had been playing only moments earlier.

When the Gazette journalist got to the area it looked like someone had tried to kill it because of the wounds found on it. K9 and eZakheni police officers came with Mossie Mostert from wildlife to capture the snake and it was later released at Nambithi conservancy.

A  goat was swallowed whole by giant rock python  in the area  less than a month ago. Read story HERE
