Soccer Academy signs new players

VRYHEID Soccer Academy is pleased to announce the signing of six new players following our previous advertisement in the newspaper. We are very grateful to the Vryheid Herald for their assistance in this matter. The names of the players will be published once the registration process is complete. Registration was open until March 30. Unfortunately, due to the previous water outages, training could not commence as scheduled on Saturday, March 8. Water is of the utmost importance during our training programme, as our young professionals get dehydrated during training and need to have drinking water frequently. Lastly, we would like to announce that training resumed as normal on Saturday, March 15 at 8:30am. A schedule of tournaments for each quarter is being organised and the first tournament of four teams Intermillan (Mondlo); Vryheid Soccer Academy (Vryheid); Amajita (Mondlo) and Supersport (Mondlo) will be held in Mondlo on April 5 with the first game kicking off at 10:00am. The support of the Vryheid and Mondlo community will be greatly appreciated. The venue will be advised soon. Teams participating in the tournament are as follows: Vryheid Soccer Academy; Young Stars FC; Juventus FC; Amajita FC; Sunningdale FC and Intermilan FC.
