Budding young artists at NRS
Two NRS pupils came first and second in an art competition, while the boys' hockey team gained some good experience on the field.
TWO NRS pupils, both in Grade 2, came out tops in the Toyota Draw a Car Competition.
Muhammad Mehtar won the first prize of R750,00. He decided to save his prize money.
Kholeka Buthelezi won the second prize of R500,00. She bought a new pink bicycle with the money.

Boys’ hockey: On April 9, our boys’ hockey team took part in a tournament against the Newcastle schools, hosted by Nardini.
It was the first tournament of the season, with the following results (NRS scores first): against Huttenpark 0-0; Nardini B 1-0; St. Dominic’s Academy 0-0 and Newcastle Senior Primary 0-0.
Our boys gained good experience for the season ahead.
