Despite rain interrupting play, all the scheduled matches were played and it turned out to be a pleasant day of sport characterised by good sportsmanship.
The results were as follows, NRS scores first: Netball: u/9A: 0-13; u/10A: 0-7; u/11A: 1-13; u/12A: 4-3; second team: 7-11 and first team: 14-15. Hockey: u/9: 1-6; u/10: 0-3; second team: 14-0 and first team: 0-2. Rugby: u/9: 10-14; u/10: 5-5; u/11: 0-15; second team: 14-0 and first team: 37-0.
Congratulations to Mr R Greyling and Miss C Cloete who have been chosen respectively as the team manager and coach of the u/13 hockey team for the Vryheid region.
