Hamilton pupils excel in various sporting codes

Hamilton’s top sportsmen and women have had a busy few weeks.
Joshua McKay, Vanessa Abudo and Sarah-Joy Pringle took part in the KZN schools swimming trials in Durban at the Kings Park outdoor swimming pool on Saturday, May 10. While none of them made the team, all three swam some of their best times yet.
Claudia Liu, Hamilton’s golfing star, competed in the South African Kids Golf Junior Open in Mount Edgecombe, where she once again walked away with the trophy for first place in the girls’ 9-10 years category.
Sarah-Joy Pringle competed in the KZN netball trials in Durban on Friday, May 16, where she was selected to represent the province. She will participate in the SA inter-provincial tournament to be held in Margate during June.
Hamilton is proud of all their sportsmen and women, and wishes Vanessa Abudo and Sarah-Joy Pringle all the best as they compete in the inter-district hockey tournament this weekend as members of the girls’ U/12 Uthukela hockey team.
