Haas Das Pre-Primary to appear on television

The children performed in different age categories and the parents enjoyed the live performance

KleuterzoneTV Productions recently visited a local school and shot a scene which will be broadcast on DSTV channel 262 later this year. Parents and families gathered at Haas Das Pre-Primary School last Monday night to see their young ones performing while being recorded live.

This videoing will form part of a series which will be shown in September so parents will have a chance to see their little ones on TV. Anthony Bougas, who is a singer and presenter of the show, said the aim of this project is to see the world through the eyes of a child, and it also encourages parents to send their children to créches or pre-primary schools at an early age, “This initiative is to try and show parents the importance of pre-school,” says Anthony. The children performed in different age categories and the cold weather did not stop the parents from enjoying the live performance.

These programmes are designed to support parents, and encourage and nurture children in improving speech and language. The children were very excited about this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, as Haas Das will be the only school in KZN which will be featured in this series out of the 24 schools visited by Kleuterzone.
