The little learners from Sifisokuhle Crèche in Papkuilsfontein were in for a surprise on Thursday morning.
While practising their nursery rhymes with their teachers, they noticed a white bakkie pull up at the door.
Within minutes brightly coloured tables and chairs emerged from the bakkie and the children’s smiles were evident that they were very appreciative.
Khulisa Social Solutions from Ladysmith, whose representatives travelled to Estcourt on Thursday morning to personally deliver the items, donated the tables and chairs.
The company previously sponsored a Christmas tree and gifts as well as toiletries, crayons and colouring books to the crèche.
To thank the donors the children sang with all their hearts.
