Vryheid Landbou High School – Great results after gruelling auditions

HERE AT Vryheid Landbou High School, we are honoured to have one of the best choirs!
Mrs A van Niekerk and Ms S Ngubane, you are both doing an awesome job, which is much appreciated.
KZN Youth Choir: It was another gruelling and nail biting experience for our learners who took part in the KZN Youth Choir auditions.
Many of them were too nervous to even try, but we are proud to report that ten of our learners successfully passed their auditions.
Congratulations to the following learners: Manelisi Mbuli; Mnqobi Ngubane; Andiswa Manqele; Fanele Sithole; Thembelihle Ngema; Minenhle Sithole; Bongisisa Ngcobo; Luthando Mabika; Yolo Mdunge; and Bongokuhle Nkosi. We are extremely proud of you all!
Wegholbrand: Vryheid Landbouskool wil graag alle persone, veral die boere wat op Maandag, 6 Junie, ons bygestaan het tydens ‘n wegholbrand, opreg bedank.
Hulle het met hulle bakkies en trekkers aangekom om ons te help om die wegholbrand onder beheer te kry. Ons waardeer dit ongelooflik baie, sonder julle bystand was dit bykans ‘n onbegonne taak. Baie dankie ook aan al die personeel en leerders vir julle hulp. (Anton van der Schyff.)
Youth Show: On August 2, we are having the annual Youth Show.
We are proud to add the following events: a ‘Farm Strongman’ and a ‘Farm Skill’ competition.
Teams of five members are invited to participate in various items: bale roll; tractor pulling; carrying milk cans and feed bags; throwing of iron poles and many more adventurous items. Anyone interested in participating in these items, kindly contact Mr Anton van der Schyff at 083 375 5204.
