Pupils enjoy a braai on the last day of term

A braai fire was lit and tiny noses were twitching at the smell of meat cooking on the open fire

The pupils at Edukidz look forward to the last school day of the term, when the theme is ‘Braai Day’.
Educational talks are held, discussing the dangers of fires, fuels and matches. The little ones are, however, also made aware that fires can be good.

A braai fire was lit and tiny noses were twitching at the smell of meat cooking on the open fire. Mouths watered in anticipation of enjoying the braai.

A little surprise of braaied marshmallows was a first for many of the children, to whom this was something quite strange but delicious.

To end the morning, the little ones had the opportunity to express their experience on paper with artwork relating to the day.

This, once again, initiated many conversations about the lovely day the little ones were privileged enough to enjoy.
