Rising rugby stars in Dannhauser

Dannhauser Primary learners continue to make the school proud on the rugby field.

The popularity of rugby is definitely on the rise at Dannhauser Primary School.
Twelve learners were recently selected for the Amajuba District Team and the Natal Development Side (U/12 and U/15).
Seven of the learners made the U/12 side while the other five, who are actually under 13 years of age, made the U/15 side.
Dannhauser Primary is showing they indeed have the skills to rival the biggest and best of them.
Coach Brandon Biyela is excited about the future of the sport at the school, and has promised that rugby won’t be stopping at the school any time soon. Brandon is already planning coaching clinics during the next term involving the community, and is looking forward to his charges’ remaining games for the season.
He thanked Mr Lloyd of Glencoe Primary and Mr Brown of Sarel Cilliers for all their coaching skills and methods which he is now using to great effect at Dannhauser Primary.
