There was much excitement on Tuesday, June 17 as learners were commended at assembly for their outstanding performance in the first round of the Astro Quiz Competition.
Two grade six learners, Thembelihle Khumalo and Annelisa Zondi represented the school on June 14 at the Papkulsfontein Hall.
Both girls answered a variety of questions ranging from current affairs, HIV/Aids, the national anthem, general knowledge and the Provincial Coat of Arms.
The school will now proceed on July 26 to district level in Ladysmith.
The school management team thanks Mrs V Junabadur for preparing the learners and congratulates the learners for their outstanding performance in the competition as it was their very first experience.
