Learning life skills at Bible school
Running for a whole week, they were taught life skills and interpersonal skills, as well as the importance of respect and obedience, using Bible stories as their guide
The Tsakane Seventh-Day Adventist Church held a Vocational Bible School for children in the community over the school holidays.
Lots of children up to the age of 14 attended. Running for a whole week, they were taught life skills and interpersonal skills, as well as the importance of respect and obedience, using Bible stories as their guide.
Lunch was served in between lessons, much to the delight of those who come from poor backgrounds. After a whole week of Bible study, the youngsters were awarded with certificates of attendance on the last Saturday. The leaders and organisers of the Bible School, Mr SS Ndlovu and Mrs N Mbatha, would like to thank all the parents for allowing their children to attend, “as it helps to groom tomorrow’s leaders and keep them away from the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse”.
