Ibrahim Methule (Vice Captain), Sanele Mdlalose (Captain), Philani Mbatha, Sandile Makhuba, Lindokuhle Ndaba and Mr J Schoeman (Deputy Principal).

Newcastle High School’s u/15 boys soccer team was crowned the 2014 NSSL Champion on June16 after competing against the top schools in the Newcastle Schools Soccer League (NSSL).

NHS went up against Amajuba High School in the final, beating them three-one.

Awards were given to the following NHS players: Sanele Mdlalose (Player of the Tournament), Philani Mbatha (Top Goal Scorer), Lindokuhle Ndaba and Sandile Mkhuba (Young Promising Player of the Tournament).

The players showed discipline and skill throughout the tournament. Their hard work and dedication to the game paid off in the end. Congratulations boys!
