Sameer Mungal (owner of Orie's Barber Shop) is recovering well in Madadeni Provincial Hospital.

The Courier is happy to report that Sameer Mungal (owner of Orie’s Barber Shop) is recovering well in Madadeni Provincial Hospital. Sameer, fondly known as ‘Sam’, was involved in an accident on the corner of Victoria and Willson Streets on July 26. He sustained injuries, but according to family members is ‘recovering well’.
News of Sam’s accident sent waves of turmoil through Dundee, but fortunately ‘Sam the friendly barber’, who is a well-known man in the community, is recovering well.
Sam has partaken in many charitable campaigns, including the Courier’s Shavathon event, where he shaved of his 22cm-long ponytail in support of cancer awareness.
The Courier would like to wish Sam a speedy recovery.
