Duathlon success at Egerton’s Agar Field

Young and old took part in the Aquafin Sport Series Duathlon that took place on Saturday morning at Egerton Primary School’s Agar Field. The spirited athletes had a great time on a warm, sunny day as they ran, cycled and then had another running stint. It was 2km of running, followed by an 8km cycle, and then pumping the legs for another 2km run. Aquafin would like to thank the team organisers, the Egerton Grade 7 marshals, and the sponsors for making the event such a success. Congratulations to all the winners who received trophies, and all the finishers who received medals. They encourage families and scholars to enter either as individuals or teams in the next event coming up on Saturday, August 30, again at Egerton Primary School’s Agar Field.
