Vryheid High School – Learning is fun

THE FIRST Boys’ Cricket team attended a training and team-building camp at Pongola this weekend.

The boys trained hard and definitely gained valuable experience. Our sincere gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of this camp and a special thank you to Mr Gevers for his input.

Rudolf Beneke en Nadia Beneke het Saterdag, 26 Augustus, aan die NKZN B Span Tennis Toernooi deelgeneem en so hul kleure vir tennis verwerk. Wel gedaan! Sterkte aan die VHS tennisspan wat Woensdag teen Pionier speel.

Ons wens Brigitte Westermeyer baie voorspoed toe met haar deelname aan die Wêreldwye Duitse Olimpiade in Frankfurt, Duitsland. Sy vertrek die naweek. Maak ons trots, Brigitte! Lebe wohl!

Congratulations to SN Khuzwayo (Bachelor of Arts) and R Ramlall (Bachelor of Science) who are both ex-VHS learners currently studying at Rhodes University.

A reminder that admission application forms for 2015 are now available at the front office at the school. Official Matric Certificates of 2013 are also available at the office.

Our sincere condolences are with Mrs Pat Schulte with the passing of her husband Eric on Saturday. You and your family are in our prayers.
