No water in Aloe Park once again

Residents are fed up at having to deal with this seemingly never-ending problem

Taps ran dry in the Aloe Park area once again this morning (Sunday).

Residents are fed up at having to deal with this seemingly never-ending problem. “We can’t  even go to church because we don’t have water to bath and sort out our little children,” said one furious resident.

This has become an almost every day issue, with water going off in the morning and only coming back on again in the afternoon. Another issue is that no water tankers are sent out to help those affected, plus no prior notification of the water cuts is received from uThukela.

When asked for comment, uThukela said their workers are busy with the filters at the reservoirs and water should be back on shortly.
