Reports of earth tremors have started streaming in from all over South Africa after 5.3 magnitude earthquake.
Reports are coming in of a 5.3 magnitude earthquake that hit just east of Orkney in the North West Province.
People around South Africa reported feeling the tremors just after 12:30pm from as far as Newcastle, Ladysmith, Johannesburg, Free State and even Botswana.
Courier readers also reacted on the Facebook page with some saying they also felt it in Durban, Pretoria and the Free State, however, there have been no reports of the earth moving in the Endumeni area.
