Dundee Hospital food not Halaal

Hospital food was previously Halaal but no longer

The Dundee Hospital has announced that chicken, meat and meat products supplied to patients are no longer Halaal.
Suban Khan, Hospital CEO, said it is important that the community takes note of this.

The meals provided at Dundee Hospital have in the past been always Halaal – however, the Provincial Health Department has now awarded the contract for the supply of chicken, meat and meat products to a company that is not Halaal-compliant.
