DJS se Dee-Mari wen goud by Expo vir Jong Wetenskaplikes in Ladysmith
Dee- Mari Kriel het DJS baie trots gemaak met die goue medalje wat sy vir haar projek verower het. Sy het ook ‘n trofee vir die beste Expo projek in haar afdeling ontvang! Silwer medaljes is verwerf deur Marnè Potgieter, Nicole Johnson and Anika Louw. Brons medaljes deur Willem Husselman, Lisa McKenzie, Tamryn Mulligan, Kyla van Rensburg, Shenè Strydom, Nina Louw, Wi-Nè Husselman, Rihanè Kruger, Caitlyn Mulligan en Sejal Mughoo. In the senior section Monique Arnds and Sne Memela received highly-commended certificates. In the JP section Ammaarah Mahomed, Mumtaz Malek, Chantelize Gerlach, Arista Jagath and Samiksha Ramballie received highly-recommended prizes.
The school is proud of each and every member of the DJS Expo team! Thank you to Mr Boshoff and Mr Maree, who took care of the safe transport, and Miss C Potgieter, Mrs L Muller and Mrs H Lemmer.
Dundee Juniorskool tennis skop af. Baie geluk aan die skool se tennis ster, Lisa McKenzie, wie tans die vyfde plek op die KZN ranglys vir dogters 0/14 beklee. Dundee Junior se eerste tennisspan bestaan uit die volgende dogters: Lisa McKenzie, Cindy McKenzie, Liesel Viljoen en Dee-Mari Kriel. Seuns: Renier van Rensburg, Wikus Coetzee, Willem Husselman en SW Meintjes het Maandag 4 Augustus teen Monument Laerskool van Ladysmith gespeel, en hul met 13 wedstryde teen drie geklop. Baie geluk en sterkte met julle wedstryde vorentoe!
DJS fishing fundis
Henery Bugden and Rahul Pargas were chosen to represent the KwaZulu-Natal U/13A fishing team at the upcoming SA Championships to be held in Bloemhof during December. Mrs Bugden, who assists with the coaching, will be accompanying them as the team manager. On Saturday, August 2 Henery was officially awarded his KwaZulu-Natal Colours for partaking in the U/19B team.
