No "TATTOO" says Brad to screaming fans at LHS

SA swimming sensation Brad Tandy paid a visit to his old alma mater, Ladysmith High School (LHS).
The former LHS head boy addressed pupils in the quad. The excited pupils listened intently as a list of his achievements at the school and in the international swimming arena were highlighted.
This includes finishing 7th in the Men’s Freestyle 50m at the 2014 Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow, and qualifying for the World Championships later this year. He qualified for the World Championships on day four of the South African Short Course Swimming Championships in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday.
The World Championships are scheduled to be held in Doha, in Qatar, in December. Brad Tandy swam 21.55 seconds to qualify for Doha in the Men’s 50m Freestyle.
But the biggest item up for debate was whether Brad had a tattoo on his back. Sadly, for the screaming teens, Brad does not have a tattoo on his back. The photograph used in the Ladysmith Gazette shows him sporting what looks like a tattoo. It was, however, a plaster used to support the muscles on his shoulder and back after he injured them in an earlier race.
