Vryheid High School – Rejuvenation at VHS

THIS past week was not as busy as the previous ones, but sport and other activities continue while the matriculants are working hard to prepare for the trial examinations.

The SMT (School Management Team) of VHS attended a SAOU management workshop at the North West University campus in Potchefstroom this past weekend. During this two day course, they were enriched with themes such as ‘financial management, human resource management and the curriculum management.’

The knowledge and experience they gained will be employed to refresh concepts already used here and to keep the school relevant in the future. The SMT thoroughly enjoyed this team-building opportunity and have returned with new enthusiasm and ideas to successfully manage VHS.

Tennis: VHS played against Dundee on Friday, August 8. We beat them 13-3. Well played, VHS tennis players.
