Police raid Dundee High School
DHS Principal Rudi Haschke told the Courier, "This was a planned, random search - these are carried out from time to time."

Police seized cocaine, a knife and cigarettes during a raid conducted at Dundee High School today.
Principal Rudi Hashcke said earlier police reports that mandrax was found at the school were not true.
Police also confirmed that their first report that mandrax had been confiscated were wrong.
He added that police told him one Grade 12 pupil had been taken in for questioning.
According to Captain V Mbhense, Dundee SAPS Communications Officer, one student in Grade 12 was arrested for being in possession of cocaine. Two Grade 10 pupils were questioned but not taken in.
Mr Hashcke told the Courier that ‘the school welcomed these random raids that are standard procedure and are carried out from time to time.’
It was during today’s raid that a suspicious white paper bag was seen tossed from a classroom window.
Investigations continue, and more information will follow.
