Professional anglers continue to join the league

A special general meeting will be held on September 6 at the War Room, 36 Asnika Crescent, Suryaville at 2 pm to allocate members to the four teams

The interest shown in the Angling Professional League continues to gain momentum as the membership continues to rise prior to the hosting of the first league on 19 October at Sandford.

A special general meeting will be held on September 6 at the War Room, 36 Asnika Crescent, Suryaville at 2 pm to allocate members to the four teams, namely Team Streetwire, The Paper House, the Fishing People and NFH Super Stars.

At the meeting, the election of Captains, Vice Captains and Record Clerk for the respective teams will take place as well.
Membership is currently open and membership forms may be collected from Midas Spares (Mr. Omar); the Fishing People (Shabir) or contact Kidd Rampersadh (084 6008 333); Terence Chetty (072 786 0866) or Monty Slabbert on 082 391 6324 for more information.

The Breakwaters Angling Club’s awards function will take place on November 8 at Status Hall and a social event not to be missed.
