A mini bus taxi overturned near Estcourt High School at 7pm this morning.
A taxi carrying 26 passengers overturned after the brakes allegedly failed. Onlookers say that the taxi ploughed through a fence of a nearby house and only stopped once it made its way through one other fence. The house owner told an Estcourt News reporter that all she heard was a loud bang and after making her way outside to see what had happened said all she saw was, people pressed against the windscreen of the minibus. Five students have suffered minor injuries and have been removed to Hospital by emergency services.
