Woman robbed outside church

A woman was robbed of her handbag when she was mugged outside a  Glencoe church.

Police say a young man confronted the woman, who was busy loading property into her car outside the church.

He tried to snatch her handbag, and when she resisted a struggle ensued. The man overpowered her and made off with her bag, which contained her 
cellphone, ID book, bank cards and driver’s licence. No arrests have been made, but police continue with the search.
