August proved to be a very tragic month in Endumeni.

AS we enter the month of September and the beginning of Spring, we take a look back at news that made headlines in August.

August was a month of tragedy. From a house fire in Glencoe that claimed one life, to a toddler dying after getting run over by a vehicle and the learner who lost her life after an asthma attack, August was a month of fatalities.

Numerous accidents around the town claimed more lives, children escaped locked cars and Dundee High School had a drug scare.
