THREE local young farmers will be flying the AbaQulusi flag high in Denmark this spring.
Thembelihle Ngiba, Siza Phakathi and Nomvuselelo Tikane all boarded a flight to Denmark on Sunday, August 31 where they will be attending an Agricultural Management Programme in which they will be specializing in pig farming.
The three, who have been working at Vaalkop Farm, just a few kilometres out of town, are no strangers to pig farming as they have been working with co-workers at this farm which is under Uluntu Agri-Processing managing more than 5600 pigs.
These young people were selected as part of a Danish Foreign Aid 10-month all expenses paid programme, which is part of an initiative to develop agricultural economy in South Africa.
