Young and old parents packed into Siphimpilo Clinic in Sithembile, where they were taught about the importance of breast-feeding their children. Nurses encouraged parents to breast-feed their children and take good care of them so they will grow up healthy.

Not only did the nurses advice parents on breast-feeding they also educated the mothers on family planning and the various options available to prevent being pregnant.

Sister M Khuzwayo also indicated that woman who are infected by HIV can also breast-feed up to one year. She encouraged women to stay and raise her child her self so that they can be able to see how well she or he develop. She encouraged parents to continuously bring the child to clinic for check ups.
