No girl left behind at Lincoln Heights
Leave No Girl Behind International, and St Dominic’s Academy hosted a workshop called, Empowered Girl- Empowered World.

Leave No Girl Behind International, and St Dominic’s Academy hosted a workshop called, Empowered Girl- Empowered World. Lincoln Heights Secondary School pupils gave two riveting performances on Saturday, August 16.
Thabisile Dhlamini (Grade 11C) and Nomdeni Sikhakhane (Grade 8A) recited their own poetry in honour of women. A song entitled We are the empowered girls was led by Londiwe Dladla (Grade 12D). Thandokuhle Bhayi, Bongiwe Mazibuko, Palesa Nkosi, Zamahlubi Hadebe and Mbali Mgaga(Grade 12D) joined her in the chorus.
The principal, staff, pupils and school governing body thanked the girls for representing Lincoln Heights and making women feel empowered.
“Empowered girls, go out into the world and make a name for yourselves!”
