Wasbank Primary School held its Spring Fun Run on September 5.
With fantastic sunny weather the learners set out on an energetic note to celebrate the coming of Spring.
Participation was open to all learners of the school. The foundation phase learners completed a distance of 5km, intermediate phase 8km and senior phase 10km.
Certificates were awarded to all participants of the race, and medals to the first three positions in each.
Thanks to the Wasbank SAPS for ensuring a casualty-free day, as well as Wasbank Sports and Recreation for their assistance.
The school would also like to thank all their sponsors: Orange Grove Dairy, Bilal Ameen, Printing Y’s, Right Price Hardware, Seigie Pillay, Praniel Mughoo, Akbar Joosub and Ismail’s Trading Store.
The day was an exciting and enjoyable one.
