Car slams into fence

What began as a quiet Sunday morning ended with a thud, crash and bang after a vehicle veered off the road and slammed into a nearby fence on Biggar Street in Glencoe.

The impact of the crash sent shattered glass and debris flying through the air; however, no injuries were sustained.

The vehicle was travelling at a high speed, and the driver is alleged to have lost control of the vehicle, resulting in the accident.

Onlookers rushed to the scene fearing the worst – the impact of the crash left the vehicle badly damaged.

However, the driver fled the scene upon seeing the crowd…
