Dannhauser to host volleyball tournament
The weekend promises to serve up some sporting action in Dannhauser.
The sporting scene in Dannhauser is set to come alive this weekend as the town plays host to a volleyball tournament.
Tishen Narothum and Ashwin Maharaj, two of the faces behind the tournament, are hoping that this will be the first of many sporting events in Dannhauuser.
The volleyball tournament will be held on Saturday, September 27 at the South Park Grounds. Games will start at 4pm and the final is expected to finish at 10pm.
Teams must be made up of a minimum of six players and a maximum of eight players. Entry fee is R20 per player.
Mens’, ladies’ and mixed teams are welcome to enter. Entries for the tournament close on Thursday, September 25 at 8pm.
A meeting will be held this coming Friday at 7pm at the South Park Grounds to finalise the fixture lists and rules for the tournament. All captains are urged to attend. For more information and for entry forms, e-mail tishen.n@gmail.com.
