Puppies – which according to the owner are pedigree Pitbull terriers – are being sold from a boot of a car on King Edward Street.
The seller said he is from Glencoe and has the ‘legal right to sell the puppies’ which go R800 each.
He said he has ‘all their papers from the vet and the puppies have also been dewormed’.
With him were the parents of the puppies – the adult dogs- sleeping in the front of the car.
The selling of the puppies attracted quite a crowd. However, one upset shopper who contacted the Courier. It was also said that the SPCA had been contacted to check on the puppies.
