Iskcon giving back on Heritage Day

On arrival they were welcomed with a queue of little ones awaiting them with their bowls clutched in one hand and the other waving

While many could afford to have a braai on Heritage Day, the Food for Life organisation did not let that overshadow the fact that many others couldn’t afford to have a meal for supper that night.
The Food for Life team went out to Rensburg on Wednesday, September 24 to serve a meal, a drink and a fruit to the Rensburg community.
On arrival they were welcomed with a queue of little ones awaiting them with their bowls clutched in one hand and the other waving. The Food for Life team received heart-warming smiles in gratitude of their good deeds. Naveen Rampath and his family sponsored the meal and Binesh, Rani and their family sponsored the fruit. If you would like to sponsor a meal to the needy, contact Yugesha Naidoo on 082 898 7883.
