Iscor Angling club hosted its annual prize giving function with a dinner and dance.
Recognition was given to all the anglers for their achievements during the year.
The club champions for the year were crowned with Marcell van Niekerk receiving the trophy of Senior Angler, Annikie Oosthuizen, Ladies Angler, Albert van Niekerk Senior Junior Angler and Janre van Niekerk Junior Angler of the Year.
Quinton Oosthuizen, Annikie Oosthuizen and Sonja Slabbert received merit awards from the South African Angling Federation for attending 10 National championships and for serving 10 years on KwaZulu-Natal provincial management.
Special recognition was also given to Alicia Janse van Rensburg who received South African National Federation colours.
Nine other members of the club also received KZN Provincial Colours for angling, as they joined the KZN Masters Team, KZN B and C-Teams, and the KZN Junior Team.
The club congratulated to all the anglers who received trophies, medals and certificates, and wished them well in the angling year to come.
