APL casts off
Each round of the league carries prize money of R500 for the winning team. The angler who accumulates the most points on the day, will receive a floating trophy and gets to wear the orange cap while the overall leader dons the purple cap.
This weekend sees the cast off for the much awaited Angling Professional League.
The four teams, Team Streetwire, Fishing People, NFH Superstars and Paper House will battle against each other.

Currently, the purple cap belongs to Shane Mangaroo as the forerunner in the last competition.
The league competition will be held at Sandford on October 19, and anglers can fish in any zone of their choice. The weigh-in will take place at the pump house in Zone C.
All members are urged to adhere to the rules so as to ensure that all competitions proceed smoothly. Membership is currently open to new members wishing to join the League.
