Vryheid Athletics Club – Spar Fun Run/Walk ‘good for you’

OVER 300 participants took part in the annual AbaQulusi Spar Fun Run/Walk on Monday, October 20.

Well done to Vryheid Athletics Club for organizing the event, and to Philip and Taryn of Abaqulusi Spar for your generous sponsorship and allowing Vryheid Athletics Club to host this event. Thank you to Ros from the Department of Sports and Recreation, for sponsoring gym towels. Pioneer and Lucas Meyer were the two schools who took the cash prize for the most entrants.

VAC members, save the date for the year end function on Friday, November 14. Details will be emailed to members.

Time trials are on Thursdays at 5:30pm from Pioneer High School, followed by a social braai. Walkers and runners of all fitness levels are most welcome to join in the time trial and braai.
