Vehicles are involved in a multiple pile-up due to an accident involving 23 vehicles on the N3 in poor weather conditions. Heavy mist has brought vehicles to a standstill on Van Reenen’s Pass near Montrose. The N3 is officially closed. At least 4 people are reported dead, with mass casualties on scene. The number is unknown at this stage.
N3TC and RTI have blocked the N3, both north and southbound.
