Load-shedding schedule to be released soon

Load-shedding has been implemented throughout South Africa following an announcement by Eskom yesterday (Sunday).

Electricity in Acaciavale and Leonardsville was switched off on Sunday.

Eskom officials are currently speaking to Emnambithi/Ladysmith Municipality officials regarding the load-shedding schedule for the week. Old rosters are inaccurate at this point in time.

Residents should be prepared for electricity outages of at least 3 hours, with load-shedding in place for a week.

We will update this story as we receive more information regarding the load-shedding times for different areas.

Latest update: Eskom does not believe there will be load-shedding during the day, today (Monday).
