Shooting in Iris Crescent leaves one injured

It is alleged that a heated argument stemming from a family feud led to an assault and the shooting of a local resident this evening (Tuesday) in Iris Crescent.

A group of men arrived in a car at the victim’s house. They then allegedly assaulted and ended up shooting the victim twice in the leg with a gas- operated gun.

Sharaj Ambulance Services responded within minutes of receiving the call.

The patient was stabilised and transported to hospital for further treatment.

The suspects are evidently known to the victim, and police are expected to make arrests soon.
