Well-known biker killed in tragic crash

Kaveer Ramdin, known by his nickname ‘Jimbos’, was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident along De Beers Pass (Ingula road) earlier today.

It is believed that two bikers were riding along the road when one of them lost control of his motorcycle while going around a bend. The bike veered off the road and crashed into a storm-water drain. Kaveer sustained multiple serious injuries and died at the scene.

The other biker was treated for shock by Sharaj paramedics.

RTI, police, Sharaj and towing services responded and are still at the scene.

Social media networks are a hive of activity, with literally hundreds of his friends commenting on his sad passing.
