On Friday, November 7, the Michaelis Kindergarten Grade R’s got a taste of what ‘Big School’ is going to be like. They spent a few hours in the Grade 1 classroom listening to a story and even doing a little bit of work. Later in the day, the parents and children were invited to the hall for a short concert, performed by the Grade 1 class and a fashion show presented by the Grade 2 class. These learners modelled the various items of clothing that make up our Michaelis School Uniform. This is a fun-filled and informative day and I think all the nervous little ones and perhaps even parents, have been put at ease, as they now know what to expect! Have a lovely holiday Grade R’s we look forward to having you in ‘Big School’ next year!
