Vryheid Country Club – Great golfing achievements

CONGRATULATIONS to our new Men’s Open Champion, Hagen Gevers who played a solid 36 holes on Sunday in less than ideal conditions.

Our Senior Champion is Joe Khumalo.

This week, Wednesday is Sanbonani IPS, Friday is Profhulp Maakelaars Sundowner and Saturday is NTT Toyota Betterball. Get those names on the list.

Congratulations also to Liezl Smit, who finished second and Joan Solms, who finished eleventh in the SA Mid Amateur Championships held at Irene Golf Club two weeks ago. You girls did Vryheid proud!

Well done to our Men’s Interclub teams for doing their best, but unfortunately not bringing any trophies back – next year, boys!

Don’t forget that our restaurant is open for pub grub on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They are also open on Sundays from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
