Was it a tornado?

This photo was sent to us by Werner Diedericks shortly after the massive storm that hit Vryheid this afternoon, November 19.

The photo was taken from the balcony of ABSA Bank in High Street shortly after the storm began.

“It looks like a tornado just outside Vryheid.  Scary, because tornados are only seen in movies and not our home town, Vryheid.” added Mr Diedericks.
