Nine of College's choristers were selected as members of the Youth Choir for 2015

Over the years, Treverton College has had a number of talented singers who have been chosen as members of the KZN Midlands Youth Choir, this year is no exception! Nine of College’s choristers were selected as members of the Youth Choir for 2015. They represent 10 percent of the Youth Choir. Five College students who were members of the choir in 2014, return as members for next year; Uyethembeka Mhlanga, Jared Richardson, Caira Claassen, Braam Potgieter and Asanda Khumalo.

The new members of the choir are Zoe Njoko, Sinenhlanhla Fakazi, Vusi Fakazi and Nicky Palmer. In addition to this impressive achievement, the music students at the College, together with their Music teacher Judith Stiller are enjoying the facilities in their large, newly completed music room. They now have space for small intimate concerts; it is also ideal for College choir rehearsals. There are a myriad of performers in the department from vocalists to a jazz saxophonist, a harpist, drummers, guitarists, a flautist, pianists, and choristers!
