Treverton Schools to apply ‘One school – one vision’ in 2015

The present Board of Governors realised the importance of a strategic plan to meet the challenges of modern education as well as to preserve the heritage of the school

The New Year, 2015, will herald the launch of the ‘One School – One Vision’ initiative at Treverton Schools. This year, Treverton celebrated its Golden Jubilee, which revealed a rich educational history that had developed a strong environmental facet in its curriculum.

Of significance has been the strong Christian foundation on which the school was established in 1964. The present Board of Governors realised the importance of a strategic plan to meet the challenges of modern education as well as to preserve the heritage of the school.

This resulted in the creation of a new enlarged Headcom or management structure; it includes positions of responsibility that will span both the Prep and the College. In future, there will be greater collaboration between staff and pupils of the Prep and College as they work towards the same vision. The ultimate aim of which is to uplift the educational experience for Treverton pupils.
