Vryheid Bowling Club – Bowlers busy as always

THE Cash ‘n Carry Pairs played on Saturday was well supported with nearly a full green.

We welcomed two new members, Harry and Elize Malan and Harry, not being shy, took home third prize with his Skip, Thys. First prize went to Harald and Jan with +16 and second prize to Henry and Alex with + 15.

Congratulations to Soon and Ilva for coming second in their section and Lorraine for coming third in the Prelim Masters Singles played in Ladysmith last weekend, just missing the opportunity to participate in the Masters Singles.

Coming up this weekend, December 6 and 7, are our Club Mixed Pairs. The list is up for entries.

Our year end function will be held on December 12 . Please put your names down by Friday December 5 for catering purposes. You are welcome to bring guests.

The Business League is well on its way and becoming a serious competition. Hopefully we can finalise it on Tuesday, weather permitting.

On Tuesday, December 16, we are holding an open day. Everyone is welcome. The game will start at 9:30am, with a bring and braai afterwards. Bring friends and anybody interested in having some fun on the greens
